How Can I Find My Perfect Sports Bra Size?

Updated on May 18, 2026

Finding the right sports bra size is important because it helps you feel comfortable, supported, and confident during any workout. A good fit can make exercise easier and help prevent pain or bouncing.

1. Measure Your Band Size

Use a soft measuring tape and wrap it around your ribcage, right under your bust. Make sure the tape is straight and snug.

  • If the number is even, that’s your band size.

  • If it’s odd, round up to the next even number.

2. Measure Your Bust Size

Now measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape a little loose so you can breathe normally.

3. Find Your Cup Size

Subtract your band size from your bust size.

  • 1 inch = A cup

  • 2 inches = B cup

  • 3 inches = C cup

  • 4 inches = D cup

  • 5 inches = DD/E cup
This will help you choose the right cup coverage and support.

4. Check the Fit

Your perfect sports bra should:

  • Feel snug but not tight

  • Hold your chest in place without gaps

  • Have straps that do not dig into your skin

  • Let you move and breathe easily

5. Try the “Jump Test”

Do a few jumps or move your arms. If you feel secure and supported with minimal bounce, the fit is right.

This simple sizing method helps both shoppers and wholesale buyers make better choices. With the correct size, your sports bra will last longer, support better, and feel great in every workout.
